Stride Youth is a high-energy training program built for young athletes ready to be challenged. Designed to develop a strong foundation in endurance, strength, and movement quality, this program blends running, functional training, and bodyweight strength to build the “sports engine” needed for success in any sport—or to simply move and feel better in everyday life. This is not an introductory program. Athletes should be comfortable with structured training, able to follow coaching instructions, and ready to work at a higher level alongside their peers.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm, running from June 2 through August 20. The membership price for all 24 classes reflects the understanding that summer schedules may include vacations, camps, and other commitments.

Each session is intentionally designed to be both challenging and scalable, allowing athletes to progress while being pushed appropriately. Participants will develop cardiovascular fitness, coordination, agility, and confidence in a supportive, team-driven environment.
The program will culminate in a structured fitness race during the final class (start time may be earlier than 6:45 pm and/or run later than 7:45 pm).
Class size is capped at 16! This is for ages 10-15.
Please know this is not a beginner class. Kids should be able to pass three tests.
1) 10 Air Squats in 30 seconds (Hip crease must go below knee line)
2) 10 Walking Lunges holding a pillow behind their neck (Knee must touch the ground)
3) Run 400 meters without walking (This is one lap around a track)

CrossFit Kids:

We are dedicated to providing fun with fitness in our CrossFit Kids classes. They will learn about fundamental movements, strength training, running techniques, and conditioning. We always finish the class with a fun game. Do the kids work hard? Yes! But the class is designed so that they are learning, having fun, and leaving with a smile.

Our CrossFit Kids class is offered as a 6-week cycle, with classes once a week on Tuesdays. The 4-6 year old class is held from 6:45pm – 7:15pm and the 7-11 year old is held from 7:30pm – 8:15pm.

Our next 6-week cycle will begin in September.

CrossFit Teens:

CrossFit Teens is an advanced class that follows a traditional CrossFit class structure. In these classes, there is a general warm-up, a specific warm-up, strength training, and a conditioning workout. Kids that attend this class will be required to follow detailed instructions for strength movements, such as Back Squats, Deadlifts, and Shoulder Press, then go through an 8-12 minute conditioning workout. Technique and safety are the main priorities!

Our next CrossFit Teens class will be offered as an 8-week cycle, with classes once a week on Thursdays for ages 11-15 years old, held from 6:45pm – 7:45pm.

The next 8-week cycle begins in September.

 

 

Homeschool Kids: 

This class is designed for children who are being homeschooled but still want that gym class atmosphere. Every week, fun new activities will be introduced to allow children to exercise, learn new skills, and play and interact with other children.

Our Homeschool Kids class is offered as a 6-week cycle, with classes once a week on Tuesdays from 11:00am – 11:45am. This class is for ages 4 through 12 and we plan to have two coaches. One coach will work with ages 4-7 and the other coach will work with ages 8-12.
